Mac Studio 2023

The M2 Ultra was just released during Apple's WWDC 2023. With its advanced features, the Mac Studio M2 Ultra promises to deliver even more significant speed and performance than its predecessor.

Design

The new Mac Studio's design seems identical to its predecessor. The port system remains unchanged, but the HDMI on this version can handle up to eight 4k displays, which is a big deal for developers and graphic designers.

Processor

Mac Studio 2023 has two types of chips:

1. Apple M2 Max chip.

2. Apple M2 Ultra chip.

M2 Max

Mac Studio M2 Max comes with 12‑core CPU 30‑core GPU 16‑core Neural Engine, and 12‑core CPU 38‑core GPU 16‑core Neural Engine. M2 Max supports 32GB, 64GB, and  96GB of RAM. M2 Max is capable of 512GB-8TB SSD.

M2 Ultra

Mac Studio M2 Ultra comes with 24‑core CPU 60‑core GPU 32‑core Neural Engine, and 24‑core CPU 76‑core GPU 32‑core Neural Engine. M2 Ultra supports 64GB, 128GB, and 192GB of RAM. M2 Ultra is capable of 1TB to 8TB SSD.
