The New MacBook Pro 14" and 16" comes with a mini-LED display and Apple's new M1 chips.

Apple has just announced some severe tech, including new sizes for the new MacBook Pro, a new display with a notch. Here's everything we know so far.

After much discussion, Apple has finally revealed their new MacBook Pro – and it's a massive update from the last spec.

It comes in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. Apple's new MacBook Pro 2021 can pick with two options, the new M1 Pro or M1 Max chips and an upgradeable performance boost over the previous MacBook Pro 16 inches.

Apple has gone back to MacBook pro-2016 on some of the changes.

Apple officially changed the touch bar with a Touch ID sensor and a new full-height keyboard. It now comes with contrasting black, which will help the backlight stand out more, Apple says. 

MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch both come with some new ports along with Type-C.

Now there's a slot for an SDXC card, HDMI, a competent headphone/mic port, and MagSafe, 3x Thunderbolt 4 ports inside USB-C housing. Apple has returned its magnetic charging port, and it will provide a 50% charge in just 30 minutes.

Display

There are massive changes in the display, and one particular design might come up with some controversy. MacBook Pros have a 1080p webcam with a notch, Like the iPhone 13. We feel about this yet not sure, it feels like an odd addition to the laptop, and we're not getting Face ID.

At least the 1080p webcam is a significant improvement from the older model. There's have an extensive sound system too with six speakers.

The Liquid Retina XDR displays have higher brightness levels (1000 nits), and the adaptive 120Hz refresh rate themselves look lovely. New MacBook 2021 and iPad Pro 12.9-inch, both models have a Mini-LED panel for deeper blacks.

Let's hope that notch isn't too distracting cause the 14-inch has 3020 x 1944 while the 16-inch has 3456 x 2234 in terms of resolution. The new 14 inches has more pixels even than the previous 16 inches model. 

Release Date

Can order today (18th October) both the 16-inch and 14-inch versions of the MacBook, and shipping will start from 25th October 2021.
